There are at least 10 biblical reasons why Jesus had to come down into the world.
One reason he came is to fulfill the prophecy of God. Another reason he came was to bring Light into a darkened world. The next reason he came into the world was to show us the way.
It's easy for someone to tell you what is expected of you. It is something else entirely for someone to demonstrate what they require of you. Jesus came to this world to show us the way to love. He showed us through the Father's love for his son. He showed us that the Father and the Son loves us all. He commands us to love one another, our neighbors, and our enemies. He showed us how to love by being the ultimate sacrifice. He showed us how to love by being Love.
